Abstract:
(EN) A system and method for correcting fixed pattern noise in far-infrared (FIR) images captured by a shutterless FIR camera. The method includes: determining a drift coefficient based on previously determined calibration values and high pass filter values applied to an input FIR image captured by the shutterless FIR camera; smoothing the drift coefficient based, in part, on previously computed drift coefficient values; and removing noise from the input image based on the smoothed drift coefficient value.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de corriger un bruit cyclique fixe dans des images à infrarouge lointain (FIR) capturées par une caméra FIR sans obturateur. Le procédé consiste à : déterminer un coefficient de dérive sur la base de valeurs d'étalonnage déterminées précédemment et de valeurs de filtre passe-haut appliquées à une image FIR d'entrée capturée par la caméra FIR sans obturateur ; lisser le coefficient de dérive sur la base, en partie, des valeurs de coefficient de dérive calculées précédemment ; et éliminer le bruit de l'image d'entrée sur la base de la valeur de coefficient de dérive lissée.
