Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods are disclosed for testing image capture devices. For example, methods may include obtaining a test image from an image sensor; applying a low-pass filter to the test image to obtain a blurred image; determining an enhanced image based on a difference between the blurred image and the test image; comparing image portions of the enhanced image to a threshold to determine whether there is a blemish of the image sensor; and storing, transmitting, or displaying an indication of whether there is a blemish of the image sensor.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés aptes à tester des dispositifs de capture d'image. Par exemple, des procédés peuvent consister à : obtenir une image de test à partir d'un capteur d'image; appliquer un filtre passe-bas sur l'image de test pour obtenir une image floue; déterminer une image améliorée sur la base d'une différence entre l'image floue et l'image de test; comparer des portions d'image de l'image améliorée à un seuil afin de déterminer si le capteur d'image présente une défectuosité; et stocker, transmettre, ou afficher une indication selon laquelle le capteur d'image présente une défectuosité.
