Abstract:
(EN) A method for generating a composite image having an increased image pixel density by an array of ultrasonic transducers having a given spatial density is provided. The method comprises capturing a first set of pixels at an ultrasonic sensor using a first beamforming pattern, wherein the first beamforming pattern comprises a first pattern of ultrasonic transducers of the ultrasonic sensor. The method further comprises capturing a second set of pixels at the ultrasonic sensor using a second beamforming pattern, wherein the second beamforming pattern comprises a second pattern of ultrasonic transducers. The first beamforming pattern and the second beamforming pattern are different. Pixels of the second set of pixels correspond to positions between pixels of the first set of pixels. The method additionally comprises combining the first and second sets of pixels to form the composite image.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de génération d'une image composite ayant une densité de pixels d'image accrue par un réseau de transducteurs ultrasonores ayant une densité spatiale donnée. Le procédé comprend la capture d'un premier ensemble de pixels au niveau d'un capteur ultrasonore à l'aide d'un premier motif de formation de faisceau, le premier motif de formation de faisceau comprenant un premier motif de transducteurs ultrasonores du capteur ultrasonore. Le procédé comprend en outre la capture d'un second ensemble de pixels au niveau du capteur ultrasonore à l'aide d'un second motif de formation de faisceau, le second motif de formation de faisceau comprenant un second motif de transducteurs ultrasonores. Le premier motif de formation de faisceau et le second motif de formation de faisceau sont différents. Des pixels du second ensemble de pixels correspondent à des positions entre des pixels du premier ensemble de pixels. Le procédé consiste en outre à combiner les premier et second ensembles de pixels pour former l'image composite.
