Abstract:
(EN) A continuous vertical tubular handling and hoisting buoyant structure has a hull, a main deck, an upper neck extending downwardly from the main deck, an upper frustoconical side section, an intermediate neck, a lower neck that extends from the intermediate neck, an ellipsoidal keel and a fin-shaped appendage secured to a lower and an outer portion of the exterior of the ellipsoid keel. The upper frustoconical side section is located below the upper neck and maintained to be above a water line for a transport depth and partially below the water line for an operational depth of the buoyant structure. An automated stand building system mounted to the hull is in communication with a controller and configured to make up the marine risers, make up casing, and make up drill pipe.
(FR) L'invention concerne une structure flottante de levage et manipulation, tubulaire, verticale et continue comportant une coque, un pont principal, un pont supérieur s'étendant vers le bas à partir du pont principal, une section latérale tronconique supérieure, un col intermédiaire, un col inférieur qui s'étend à partir du col intermédiaire, une quille ellipsoïdale et un appendice en forme d'ailette fixé à une partie inférieure et à une partie externe de l'extérieur de la quille ellipsoïdale. La section latérale tronconique supérieure est située sous le col supérieur et maintenue pour se trouver au-dessus d'une ligne d'eau pour une profondeur de transport et partiellement en dessous de la ligne d'eau pour une profondeur opérationnelle de la structure flottante. Un système de construction de support automatisé monté sur la coque est en communication avec un dispositif de commande et conçu pour relever les colonnes montantes marines, relever un tubage et relever une tige de forage.
