Abstract:
(EN) Wireless mesh networking protocols for directional transmissions in the PHY layer over multiple hops between a mix of mesh and non-mesh stations (STAs). Joint beamforming (BF) training and mesh network discovery is described including adaptive signaling with the mesh network. The mesh networking protocol can be utilized in a mix of wireless nodes including portals, access points (APs), personal control points (PCPs), and mesh stations (STAs).
(FR) L'invention concerne des protocoles de mise en réseau maillé sans fil pour des transmissions directionnelles dans la couche PHY sur de multiples sauts entre un mélange de stations maillées et non maillées (STA). L'invention concerne également une formation de formation de faisceau (BF) combinée et une découverte de réseau maillé comprenant une signalisation adaptative avec le réseau maillé. Le protocole de mise en réseau maillé peut être utilisé dans un mélange de nœuds sans fil comprenant des portails, des points d'accès (AP), des points de commande personnels (PCP) et des stations (STA) maillées.
