Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a hot dip coating device to provide a metal coating on a moving metal sheet, containing a liquid bath of metal coating material in use, wherein the metal coating material is to be provided on the moving metal sheet in use, comprising a container for the liquid bath, at least a guide or sink roll that is provided in the container below surface level of the liquid bath in use to guide the moving metal sheet through the bath, and a gas knife that is provided above the liquid bath in use, said gas knife having an outlet to project wiping gas on the metal coating provided on the metal sheet that in use passes along the gas knife, and wherein at least one supporting roll is provided which together with the guide or sink roll in use influence a shape of the metal sheet in its width direction at least at the location of the gas knife. According to the invention, in use the at least one supporting roll is placed above surface level of the liquid bath on a position enabling it to operate on the metal sheet before the metal sheet enters the liquid bath. The invention also relates to a method for use of the hot dip coating device.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de dépôt en bain fondu destiné à produire un revêtement métallique sur une feuille métallique en mouvement, contenant un bain liquide de matériau de revêtement métallique lors de l'utilisation, le matériau de revêtement métallique est destiné à être déposé sur la feuille métallique en mouvement lors de l'utilisation, comprenant un récipient pour le bain liquide, au moins un rouleau de guidage ou d'abaissement qui est disposé dans le récipient au-dessous du niveau de la surface du bain liquide lors de l'utilisation pour guider la feuille de métal en mouvement à travers le bain, et une lame de gaz qui est disposée au-dessus du bain de liquide lors de l'utilisation, ladite lame de gaz possédant une sortie pour projeter un gaz d'essuyage sur le revêtement métallique déposé sur la feuille métallique qui, lors de l'utilisation, passe le long de la lame de gaz, et au moins un rouleau support étant présent, lequel, conjointement avec le rouleau de guidage ou d'abaissement, influence une forme de la feuille métallique dans le sens de sa largeur au moins au niveau de l'emplacement de la lame de gaz. Selon l'invention, lors de l'utilisation, ledit rouleau support est placé au-dessus du niveau de la surface du bain liquide à une position qui lui permet d'agit sur la feuille métallique avant que la feuille métallique ne pénètre dans le bain liquide. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'utilisation du dispositif de dépôt en bain fondu.
