Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a novel composite material which comprises silicon and carbon, the amount of silicon being 1 - 80 wt.-% and at least 90 wt.-% of the composite material being in a density range between a lower density threshold value p*1 and an upper density threshold value p*2. The density threshold values are characterized by the following relation: ρ*1,2=(1±δ)∙ρ, wherein ρ is the mean density of the composite material and ± δ is the variation range between the upper density threshold value ρ*2 and the lower density threshold value ρ*1, the amount of δ being < 0.10.
(FR) L'invention concerne un matériau composite comprenant du silicium et du carbone, la fraction de silicium étant comprise entre 1 et 80 % en poids, et au moins 90 % en poids du matériau composite se situant dans une plage de densité comprise entre une valeur limite inférieure ρ*1 et une valeur limite supérieure ρ*2; pour les valeurs limites de densité ρ*1,2, ρ*1,2=(1±δ)∙ρ et ρ représente la densité moyenne du matériau composite et ± δ détermine la plage de variation entre une valeur limite supérieure ρ*2 de la densité et une valeur limite inférieure ρ*1 de la densité, sachant que le montant de δ < 0,10.
