Abstract:
(EN) A method (30) of authentication of a long range radio, LoRa, device (2) is provided. The method (30) is performed by a LoRa network controller (4) and comprises receiving (31), from the LoRa device (2), a join request message comprising at least an application identifier, AppEUI, and a unique identifier, DevEUI, of the LoRa device (2), obtaining (32), based on one or both of the application identifier, AppEUI, and the unique identifier, DevEUI, information on an authentication and bootstrapping server (7), ABS, for use in authenticating the received join request message, obtaining (33) a verified join accept message from the ABS (7), the ABS (7) being identified based on the obtained information on the ABS (7), and forwarding (34) the verified join accept message to the LoRa device (2), enabling the LoRa device (2) to derive a network session key, NwkSKey, and an application session key, AppSKey. Methods in a authentication and bootstrapping server 7, and an application server, and corresponding devices are also provided.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé (30) d'authentification d'un dispositif radio (2) à longue portée, LoRa. Le procédé (30) est exécuté par un contrôleur de réseau LoRa (4) et consiste à recevoir (31), à partir du dispositif LoRa (2), un message de demande de jonction comprenant au moins un identifiant d'application, AppEUI, et un identifiant unique, DevEUI, du dispositif LoRa (2), obtenir (32), sur la base de l'identifiant d'application, AppEUI, et/ou de l'identifiant unique, DevEUI, des informations sur un serveur d'authentification et d'amorçage (7), ABS, destiné à être utilisé pour authentifier le message de demande de jonction reçu, obtenir (33) un message d'acceptation de jonction vérifié à partir de l'ABS (7), l'ABS (7) étant identifié sur la base des informations obtenues sur l'ABS (7), et transmettre (34) le message d'acceptation de jonction vérifié au dispositif LoRa (2), permettant au dispositif LoRa (2) de dériver une clé de session de réseau, NwkSKey, et une clé de session d'application, AppSKey.
