Abstract:
(EN) Map generation systems and methods may be provided. One or more sensors on-board a vehicle may collect information about surrounding environments and communicate the collected information to a remote server. The remote server may generate a high-precision three-dimensional map using the collected information. Data derived from the three-dimensional map can be used for navigation of the vehicle.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de génération de cartes. Un ou plusieurs capteurs embarqués sur un véhicule peuvent collecter des informations concernant des environnements périphériques et communiquer les informations collectées à un serveur distant. Le serveur distant peut générer une carte tridimensionnelle à haute précision au moyen des informations collectées. Les données dérivées de la carte tridimensionnelle peuvent être utilisées pour la navigation du véhicule.
