Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an orthotic kit for persons with amputated or atrophied upper limbs, allowing said persons to hold and handle smaller objects and tools, which comprises an orthotic made up of a flexible strip in the shape of an inverted T, made of a layered material of at least two layers, with one or more permanent magnets fixedly inserted between the at least two layers in a central area between the arms of the T, at least one metal plate that can adhere to the surface of an object or tool to be held or handled and which can adhere in turn by magnetic attraction to the magnets of the flexible strip so that the person can hold and handle said object or tool, and a means for adhering the at least one plate to the object or tool, the flexible strip having closing means at the ends of the arms of the T and at the end of the vertical portion of the T, arranged to place the strip around the end of the amputated or atrophied limb.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un kit d'orthèse pour des personnes ayant des extrémités supérieures amputées ou atrophiées afin qu'elles puissent tenir ou manipuler des objets ou des ustensiles plus petits qui comprend une orthèse formée par une bande flexible en forme de "T" inversé réalisée dans un matériau en couches constiuté d'au moins deux couches, avec un ou plusieurs aimants ou aimants permanents insérés de manière fixe entre au moins deux couches dans une zone centrale entre les bras du "T", au moins une plaque métallique qui peut adhérer à la surface d'un objet ou d'un ustensile à tenir ou manipuler et qui peut adhérer à son tour par attraction magnétique aux aimants de la bande souple de sorte que la personne peut tenir ou manipuler ledit objet ou ustensile, et un moyen de fixation de la au moins une plaque à l'objet ou l'ustensile, ladite bande souple ayant des moyens de fermeture sur les extrémités des bras du "T" et sur l'extrémité de la partie verticale du "T", disposés pour placer la bande autour de la partie terminale de l'extrémité atrophiée ou amputée.
