(EN) The present invention relates to a battery cell, comprising an electrode arrangement having at least one arrester (26) for contacting active material and a collector (28) for externally contacting the electrode arrangement, wherein the battery cell also comprises at least one rivet (10), and wherein the collector (28) and the arrester (26) each comprise at least one opening (27, 29), wherein the opening (27) of the collector (28) and the opening (29) of the arrester (26) are positioned at least partially in alignment with one another, and wherein the rivet (10) runs through the opening (29) in the arrester (26) and the opening (27) in the collector (28) and fixes the arrester (26) to the collector (28).
