The present invention relates to novel spirobibenzopyran conjugate derivatives with potent anti- cancer activity as pharmaceutical agents, their stereoisomers, their polymorphs and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and their pharmaceutically acceptable solvates or mixtures thereof. The novel derivatives of spirobebenzopyrans have the general formula (I). The spirobibenzopyran derivatives represented by general formula (I) defined above of the present invention are useful for treating cancer and other proliferative diseases. The anticancer activity exhibited may be through cytotoxic activity, anti-proliferation, cell cycle kinase inhibition or may be through cell differentiation. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing compounds of general formula (I) or their stereoisomers, their polymorphs and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and their pharmaceutically acceptable solvates.

La présente invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de conjugués de spirobibenzopyrane présentant une puissante activité anticancéreuse en tant qu'agents pharmaceutiques, leurs stéréoisomères, leurs polymorphes et leurs sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables et leurs solvates pharmaceutiquement acceptables ou les mélanges de ceux-ci. Les nouveaux dérivés de spirobibenzopyrane répondent à la formule générale (I). (I) Les dérivés de spirobibenzopyrane représentés par la formule générale (I) définie ci-dessus de la présente invention sont utiles pour le traitement du cancer et d'autres maladies prolifératives. L'activité anticancéreuse présentée peut résulter d'une activité cytotoxique, d'une anti-prolifération, d'une inhibition de la kinase du cycle cellulaire ou de la différenciation cellulaire. La présente invention concerne également des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant des composés de formule générale (I) ou leurs stéréoisomères, leurs polymorphes et leurs sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables et leurs solvates pharmaceutiquement acceptables.
