Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods to heat welding wire for low hydrogen welding are disclosed. An example method includes drawing a supply material through a die to form a wire; and applying electrical current to a portion of the wire to reduce a hydrogen content of the wire.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de chauffage d'un fil de soudage pour réaliser un soudage à faible teneur en hydrogène. Un procédé donné à titre d'exemple consiste à étirer un matériau d'alimentation à travers une matrice pour former un fil; et à appliquer un courant électrique sur une partie du fil pour réduire la teneur en hydrogène du fil.
