Abstract:
(EN) An electromagnetic device includes: a ground structure; a dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) disposed on the ground structure; an electromagnetic (EM) beam shaper disposed proximate the DRA; and, a signal feed electromagnetically coupled to the DRA. The EM beam shaper includes: an electrically conductive horn; a body of dielectric material having a dielectric constant that varies from an internal portion of the body to an outer surface of the body; or, both the electrically conductive horn and the body of dielectric material.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif électromagnétique qui comprend : une structure de masse ; une antenne à résonateur diélectrique (DRA) disposée sur la structure de masse ; un dispositif de mise en forme de faisceau électromagnétique (EM) disposé à proximité de l'antenne DRA ; et une alimentation de signal couplée électromagnétiquement à l'antenne DRA.
