Abstract:
(EN) Redox catalysts are provided for "low-temperature" methane partial oxidation in absence of gaseous oxidants. Methods of converting the methane to syngas using the catalysts are also provided. In some aspects, the conversion takes place at temperatures of about 400°C to about 950°C. The methods can be used to convert methane to syngas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas. In some aspects, the methods are carried out in a fixed bed reactor with reverse flow.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des catalyseurs redox qui sont prévus pour une oxydation partielle de méthane "basse température" en l'absence d'oxydants gazeux. L'invention concerne également des procédés de conversion du méthane en gaz de synthèse à l'aide des catalyseurs. Dans certains aspects, la conversion a lieu à des températures d'environ 400 °C à environ 950 °C. Les procédés peuvent être utilisés pour convertir du méthane en gaz de synthèse contenant du monoxyde de carbone et de l'hydrogène gazeux. Dans certains aspects, les procédés sont réalisés dans un réacteur à lit fixe à flux inversé.
