Abstract:
(EN) A method for reconditioning a glass manufacturing system includes establishing a reducing atmosphere in a glass melting vessel and draining a glass melt composition from the melting vessel while the reducing atmosphere is in the vessel. The pressure of the reducing atmosphere is greater than the pressure of the atmosphere surrounding the melting vessel and the reducing atmosphere is established by operating at least one combustion burner in the melting vessel in a fuel-rich condition.
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé de reconditionnement d'un système de fabrication de verre comprenant l'établissement d'une atmosphère réductrice dans une cuve de fusion de verre et l’écoulement d'une composition de verre fondu de la cuve de fusion en même temps que l'atmosphère réductrice est présente dans la cuve. La pression de l'atmosphère réductrice est supérieure à la pression de l'atmosphère entourant la cuve de fusion et l'atmosphère réductrice est établie par l'actionnement d'au moins un brûleur à combustion dans la cuve de fusion dans un état riche en combustible.
