Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed herein is a display device. The display device includes a light source generating light, a lightguide plate changing a path of the light generated from the light source and outputting the light to a front face, a first polarizing plate arranged on top of the lightguide plate and generating first polarized light, a liquid crystal panel arranged on top of the first polarizing plate and displaying an image by changing the first polarized light, a second polarizing plate arranged on top of the liquid crystal panel and generating second polarized light, and a quantum rod layer arranged on top of the second polarizing plate, divided into a plurality of pixels, and containing quantum rods in at least one of the pixels. A polarizing axis of the second polarized light is perpendicular to a polarizing axis of polarized light emitted by the quantum rod.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage. Le dispositif d'affichage comprend une source de lumière générant de la lumière, une plaque de guidage de lumière changeant un trajet de la lumière générée à partir de la source de lumière et fournissant cette lumière à une face avant, une première plaque de polarisation disposée au-dessus de la plaque de guidage de lumière et générant une première lumière polarisée, un panneau à cristaux liquides disposé sur la première plaque de polarisation et affichant une image en changeant la première lumière polarisée, une seconde plaque de polarisation disposée au-dessus du panneau à cristaux liquides et générant une seconde lumière polarisée, et une couche de tige quantique disposée au-dessus de la seconde plaque de polarisation, divisée en une pluralité de pixels, et contenant des tiges quantiques dans au moins l'un des pixels. Un axe de polarisation de la seconde lumière polarisée est perpendiculaire à un axe de polarisation de la lumière polarisée émise par la tige quantique.
