Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a glass for an information recording medium substrate, said glass being an an amorphous glass which has, in terms of mol%, an SiO2 content of 55-68%, a B2O3 content of 0-5%, an Al2O3 content of 1-14%, an MgO content of 8-23%, a CaO content of 1-10%, an Li2O content of 5-18%, the total content of Li2O, Na2O and K2O of 5-18%, the total content of ZrO2, TiO2, BaO, SrO and rare earth oxide(s) of 0-5%, the total content of Li2O and MgO of 20-32%, the molar ratio of the total content of Li2O and MgO to the total content of the alkali metal oxides and alkaline earth metal oxides of 0.60-0.95, the molar ratio of the SiO2 content to the total content of the alkali metal oxides of 3-13, a Young's modulus of 86 GPa or more and a specific gravity of 2.75 or less.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un verre pour un substrat de milieu d’enregistrement d’informations, ledit verre étant un verre amorphe qui présente, en termes de % en mole, une teneur en SiO2 de 55 à 68 %, une teneur en B2O3 de 0 à 5 %, une teneur en Al2O3 de 1 à 14 %, une teneur en MgO de 8 à 23 %, une teneur en CaO de 1 à 10 %, une teneur en Li2O de 5 à 18 %, la teneur totale de Li2O, Na2O et K2O de 5 à 18 %, la teneur totale de ZrO2, TiO2, BaO, SrO et d’un(des) oxyde(s) de terres rares de 0 à 5 %, la teneur totale de Li2O et MgO de 20 à 32 %, le rapport molaire de la teneur totale de Li2O et MgO à la teneur totale des oxydes de métal alcalin et des oxydes de métal alcalino-terreux de 0,60 à 0,95, le rapport molaire de la teneur de SiO2 à la teneur totale des oxydes de métal alcalin de 3 à 13, un module de Young de 86 GPa ou plus et une densité relative de 2,75 ou moins.
