Abstract:
(EN) The present invention generally relates to a method for producing silicone hydrogel contact lenses with a rebusteness of lens shape. from a SiHy lens formulation that comprises a polysiloxane vinylic crosslinker having H-donor moieties, a siloxane-containing vinylic monomer with or without H-donor moieties, a N-vinyl amide monomer, and a C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate in an amount for increasing the robusteness of lens shape of silicone hydrogel contact lenses produced from the polymerizable composition. The resultant silicone hydrogel contact lenses are inherently wettable and have a relatively high oxygen permeability, a relatively high equilibrium water content, and a relatively low elastic modulus.
(FR) La présente invention concerne, de manière générale, un procédé de production de lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone ayant une forme de lentille robuste, à partir d'une formulation de lentille SiHy qui comprend un agent de réticulation de polysiloxane de vinyle possédant des fragments donneurs d'H, un monomère vinylique contenant du siloxane avec ou sans fragments donneurs d'H, un monomère N-vinylamide, et un (méth)acrylate d'alkyle en C1 à C4 en une quantité permettant d'augmenter la robustesse de la forme de lentille des lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone produites à partir de la composition polymérisable. Les lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone ainsi produites sont intrinsèquement mouillables et ont une perméabilité à l'oxygène relativement élevée, une teneur en eau à l'équilibre relativement élevée et un module d'élasticité relativement faible.
