Abstract:
(EN) The shock absorber (10) comprises: a first cylindrical tube (14), a piston rod (18), a main piston (20) fixed to the piston rod (18) and slidably mounted in the first cylindrical tube (14) so as to separate the internal volume of this tube into an extension chamber (22) and a compression chamber (24), and a hydraulic stop member (30) arranged to operate during the compression stroke of the shock absorber (10). The hydraulic stop member (30) comprises a cup-shaped body (32) mounted in the compression chamber (24) and an auxiliary piston (34) mounted at the lower end of the piston rod (18). The cup-shaped body (32) comprises a lateral wall (44) and a bottom wall (46) which define, together with the auxiliary piston (34), a working chamber (52) in which the damping fluid of the shock absorber (10) is compressed by the auxiliary piston (34) during the compression stroke of the shock absorber (10). The auxiliary piston (34) comprises two piston elements (36, 38) which are telescopically coupled to one another, i.e. a first piston element (36) fixed to the piston rod (18) and a second piston element (38) mounted axially slidably on the first piston element (36), and at least one spring (64), which is axially interposed between the first piston element (36) and the second piston element (38) and is configured to apply on the second piston element (38) an elastic force directed towards the bottom wall (46) of the cup-shaped body (32), i.e. an elastic force tending to move the second piston element (38) away from the first piston element (36), and thus from the piston rod (18).
(FR) Amortisseur (10) comprenant : un premier tube cylindrique (14), une tige (18) de piston, un piston principal (20) fixé à la tige (18) de piston et monté coulissant dans le premier tube cylindrique (14) de manière à séparer le volume interne de ce tube en une chambre d'extension (22) et en une chambre de compression (24), et un élément d'arrêt hydraulique (30) conçu pour fonctionner pendant la course de compression de l'amortisseur (10). L'élément d'arrêt hydraulique (30) comprend un corps cupuliforme (32) monté dans la chambre de compression (24) et un piston auxiliaire (34) monté au niveau de l'extrémité inférieure de la tige (18) de piston. Le corps cupuliforme (32) comprend une paroi latérale (44) et une paroi inférieure (46) qui délimitent, avec le piston auxiliaire (34), une chambre de travail (52) dans laquelle le fluide d'amortissement de l'amortisseur (10) est comprimé par le piston auxiliaire (34) pendant la course de compression de l'amortisseur (10). Le piston auxiliaire (34) comprend deux éléments de piston (36, 38) qui sont accouplés l'un à l'autre de manière télescopique, c'est-à-dire un premier élément de piston (36) fixé à la tige (18) de piston et un second élément de piston (38) monté coulissant axialement sur le premier élément (36) de piston, et au moins un ressort (64), qui est interposé axialement entre le premier élément (36) de piston et le second élément (38) de piston et est conçu pour appliquer sur le second élément (38) de piston une force élastique dirigée vers la paroi inférieure (46) du corps cupuliforme (32), c'est-à-dire une force élastique tendant à écarter le second élément (38) de piston du premier élément (36) de piston, et donc de la tige (18) de piston.
