Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for operating an electrical energy accumulator for converting electrical energy into chemical energy and storing the chemical energy and converting the stored chemical energy back into electrical energy. At least two reactors are provided for this purpose, being spatially clearly separated from one another and with a charge-carrying electrolyte circulating between these reactors, such that the transport of the charge between said reactors is principally determined by convection.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un dispositif de stockage d'énergie électrique pour la conversion de l'énergie électrique en énergie chimique et le stockage de l'énergie chimique, ainsi que pour la reconversion de l'énergie chimique stockée en énergie électrique. Le procédé utilise au moins deux réacteurs qui sont nettement séparés l'un de l'autre dans l'espace, et un électrolyte porteur de charge est mis en circulation entre lesdits réacteurs, de sorte que le transport de la charge entre les réacteurs est déterminé principalement par convection.
(DE) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Speichers für elektrische Energie zur Umwandlung von elektrischer Energie in chemische Energie und Speicherung der chemischen Energie sowie zur Rückumwandlung der gespeicherten chemischen Energie in elektrische Energie. Hierfür liegen mindestens zwei Reaktoren vor, die räumlich deutlich voneinander getrennt sind und es wird zwischen diesen Reaktoren ein ladungstragender Elektrolyt umgewälzt, so dass der Ladungstransport zwischen diesen Reaktoren hauptsächlich durch Konvektion bestimmt wird.
