Abstract:
(EN) A satellite that includes a housing, a circuit board containing circuitry and disposed in the housing, a battery disposed in the housing and electrically connected to the circuit board, one or more weights disposed in the housing, wherein the one or more weights are disposed away from a center of the housing, one or more solar panels on the housing and electrically connected to the circuit board, and an antenna electrically connected to the circuit board and including at least one segment that extends out of the housing. When multiple satellites are launched into orbit having different mass weights, they move away from each other at least partially because of the weight difference. In orbit, each satellite is subjected to aerodynamic drag torque and gravity gradient torque.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un satellite qui comprend un corps, une carte de circuit imprimé contenant des circuits et disposée dans le corps, une batterie disposée dans le corps et raccordée électriquement à la carte de circuit imprimé, un ou plusieurs poids disposés dans le corps, le ou les poids étant disposés à distance du centre du corps, un ou plusieurs panneaux solaires situés sur le corps et raccordés électriquement à la carte de circuit imprimé, et une antenne raccordée électriquement à la carte de circuit imprimé et comprenant au moins un segment qui se prolonge hors du corps. Lorsque de multiples satellites ayant différentes masses sont lancés en orbite, ils s'éloignent les uns des autres au moins partiellement en raison de la différence de poids. En orbite, chaque satellite est soumis à un couple de traînée aérodynamique et à un couple de gradient de gravité.
