Abstract:
(EN) A multi-layer film may comprise a first quantum dot layer comprising a first polymer matrix and a plurality of first quantum dots disposed therein. A second quantum dot layer may be disposed adjacent the first quantum dot layer and may comprise a second polymer matrix and a plurality of second quantum dots disposed therein. The plurality of first quantum dots may be spaced from each other within the first polymer matrix to define gaps there between. The plurality of first quantum dots may emit a first secondary light upon excitation by light produced from a light source. At least a portion of the plurality of second quantum dots may be positioned to align with the gaps defined in the first polymer matrix along an axis that is orthogonal to the first quantum dot layer and the second quantum dot layer.
(FR) L'invention concerne un film multicouche qui peut comprendre une première couche de points quantiques comprenant une première matrice en polymère et une pluralité de premiers points quantiques disposés à l'intérieur de celle-ci. Une deuxième couche de points quantiques peut être disposée adjacente à la première couche de points quantiques et peut comprendre une deuxième matrice en polymère et une pluralité de deuxièmes points quantiques disposés à l'intérieur de celle-ci. La pluralité de premiers points quantiques peuvent être espacés les uns des autres à l'intérieur de la première matrice en polymère afin de définir des espaces entre eux. La pluralité de premiers points quantiques peuvent émettre une première lumière secondaire lors de l'excitation par la lumière produite par une source de lumière. Au moins une portion de la pluralité de deuxièmes points quantiques peuvent être positionnés de manière à s'aligner avec les espaces définis dans la première matrice en polymère le long d'un axe qui est orthogonal à la première couche de points quantiques et à la deuxième couche de points quantiques.
