Abstract:
(EN) Methods are described for creating shapes for the frozen liquid contents stored within single- serve pods used in dispensing machines for products such as coffee. Shapes may include freezing a liquid held statically in the pod in various orientations. Methods may include freeze/thaw/refreeze strategies, freezing the liquid while the pod is spinning or tumbling, use of preforms from molds, preforms made with probes, and/or use of preforms that have been formed by extrusion or pressing. In some embodiments, a shape is produced that does not interfere with the entrance of entrance or exit needles projected into the pod by the dispenser and shapes that do not interfere with the flow of a melting/diluting liquid during its transit from entrance to exit needle.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de créer des formes pour les contenus liquides congelés stockés dans des dosettes individuelles utilisées dans des distributeurs automatiques de produits tels que du café. La création des formes peut inclure la congélation d'un liquide contenu de manière statique dans la dosette selon diverses orientations. Les procédés peuvent inclure des stratégies de congélation/décongélation/recongélation, la congélation du liquide pendant la rotation ou le culbutage de la dosette, l'utilisation de préformes issues de moules, de préformes fabriquées à partir d'échantillons et/ou de préformes formées par extrusion ou pressage. Selon certains modes de réalisation, sont produites une forme qui ne perturbe pas l'entrée d'aiguilles d'entrée ou de sortie projetées à l'intérieur de la dosette par le distributeur automatique ainsi que des formes qui ne perturbent pas l'écoulement d'un liquide fondant/se diluant, lors de son déplacement de l'entrée à l'aiguille de sortie.
