Abstract:
(EN) Nonlinear ultrasound imaging systems and methods are disclosed. In one aspect, a nonlinear ultrasound imaging system includes a first transducer configured to transmit a first ultrasound signal along a scan line, a second transducer configured to sweep a second ultrasound signal along the scan line such that the first and second ultrasound signals intersect at a plurality of voxels, and a third transducer configured to receive echoes associated with interactions of the first and second ultrasound signals at the plurality of voxels. The nonlinear ultrasound imaging system further includes a processor configured to generate an ultrasound image based on the echoes.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés d'imagerie ultrasonore non linéaire. Dans un aspect, un système d'imagerie ultrasonore non linéaire comprend un premier transducteur configuré pour émettre un premier signal ultrasonore le long d'une ligne de balayage, un second transducteur configuré pour balayer un second signal ultrasonore le long de la ligne de balayage de sorte que le premier et le second signal ultrasonore se croisent au niveau d'une pluralité de voxels, et un troisième transducteur configuré pour recevoir les échos associés aux interactions du premier et du second signal ultrasonore avec la pluralité de voxels.
