Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed herein is add-on electronic circuit structures and methods for providing protection against reverse-electrical-current failures and for enabling comprehensive electrical (current- voltage sweep) and electro-optical (electroluminescence or EL using reserve current flow) testing of solar photovoltaic cells and modules having at least one multi-modal maximum-power- point tracking (MPPT) power optimizer integrated circuit chip to increase electrical energy generation yield of the modules. Such multi-modal MPPT power optimizer chips are used for distributed solar electric power generation enhancement in solar photovoltaic cells, modules, and systems under realistic operating conditions with non-ideal manufacturing and environmental variations (e.g., variable and/or non-uniform sunlight or daylight, mismatched cells, etc.).
(FR) L'invention concerne des structures de circuit électronique complémentaires et des procédés pour réaliser une protection contre des défauts de courant électrique inverse et pour permettre un test complet électrique (balayage courant-tension) et électro-optique (électroluminescence ou EL à l'aide d'un flux de courant de réserve) de cellules et de modules photovoltaïques solaires comprenant au moins une puce de circuit intégré d'optimiseur de puissance à recherche du point de puissance maximale (MPPT) multimodale en vue d'accroître le rendement de génération d'énergie électrique des modules. De telles puces d'optimiseur de puissance à MPPT multimodales sont utilisées pour une amélioration de la génération d'énergie électrique solaire distribuée dans des cellules, des modules, et des systèmes photovoltaïques solaires dans des conditions de fonctionnement réalistes avec des variations de fabrication et d'environnement non idéales (par exemple lumière solaire ou lumière du jour variable et/ou non uniforme, cellules non appariées, etc.).
