Abstract:
(EN) A polypropylene comprising within a range from 0.1 wt% to 4 wt% ethylene and/or C4 to C12 a-olefin derived units, one or more clarifiers, or both; wherein the polypropylene has a flexural modulus of at least 200 kpsi (0.05 in/min ASTM D790(A)) and an Mz/Mw of at least 4. The polypropylenes may be made by combining propylene and a comonomer with a Ziegler- Natta catalyst and at least two external electron donors, wherein the concentration of the electron donors is within a range from 1 to 100 ppm. The concentration of electron donors may be decreased to control the haze level of the polypropylene, and/or the level of comonomer derived units may be controlled to reduce the haze level of the polypropylene.
(FR) L'invention concerne un polypropylène comprenant de 0,1 % en poids à 4 % en poids d'éthylène et/ou de motifs dérivés d'a-oléfine en C4 à C12, un ou plusieurs clarificateurs, ou les deux ; le polypropylène présentant un module de flexion au moins égal à 200 kpsi (0,05 po/min ASTM D790 (A)) et un rapport Mz/Mw au moins égal à 4. Les polypropylènes peuvent être obtenus par combinaison de propylène et d'un comonomère avec un catalyseur Ziegler-Natta et au moins deux donneurs d'électrons externes, la concentration des donneurs d'électrons se situant dans une plage de 1 à 100 ppm. La concentration des donneurs d'électrons peut être réduite pour réguler le niveau de trouble du polypropylène, et/ou le taux de motifs dérivés du comonomère peut être régulé pour réduire le niveau de trouble du polypropylène.
