Abstract:
(EN) According to aspects of this disclosure there is provided a method for processing plastic containers comprising: i. Providing a container suitable for hot-filling; ii. Filling the container with heated or heatable liquid including water; iii. Sealing the container with a seal or cap to close the container; iv. Cooling the liquid in the sealed container to create a first headspace pressure within the container; v. Enclosing the cooled and sealed container within an open aseptic converter chamber, wherein the converter chamber comprises: 1. A sanitized environment; 2. Means for maintaining the sanitization of the container within the converter chamber; 3. Means for perforating or opening the cap or seal of the container within the converter chamber; 4. Means for sealing the opening or perforation within the converter chamber; and 5. Means for transporting or conveying multiple containers within the converter chamber. vi. Creating an opening in the seal or cap of the container within a sanitized environment of a perforator means or device for creating an opening in the seal or cap; vii. Increasing the first headspace pressure to a second headspace pressure within the container by the introduction of a sanitized fluid to the headspace of the container; viii. Resealing the container within a sanitized environment of a sealing means or device; ix. Transporting or conveying the sealed container from the sanitized environment of the converter chamber.
(FR) Selon certains de ses aspects, l'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de contenants en plastique comprenant les étapes consistant à : i. fournir un contenant approprié à un remplissage à chaud ; ii. remplir le contenant avec un liquide chauffé ou pouvant être chauffé, y compris de l'eau ; iii. fermer hermétiquement le contenant avec un bouchage étanche ou une capsule afin de fermer le contenant ; iv. refroidir le liquide situé dans le contenant hermétiquement fermé pour créer une première pression d'espace libre de contenant à l'intérieur du contenant ; v. enfermer le contenant refroidi et hermétiquement fermé à l'intérieur d'une chambre de convertisseur aseptique ouverte, cette chambre comprenant ; 1. un environnement aseptisé ; 2. un moyen de maintien de l'aseptisation du contenant à l'intérieur de la chambre du convertisseur ; 3. un moyen de perforation ou d'ouverture du bouchage étanche ou de la capsule du contenant à l'intérieur de la chambre de convertisseur ; 4. un moyen pour fermer hermétiquement l'ouverture ou la perforation à l'intérieur de la chambre de convertisseur ; et 5. un moyen de transport ou d'acheminement de plusieurs contenants à l'intérieur de la chambre de convertisseur ; vi. créer une ouverture dans le bouchage étanche ou la capsule du contenant à l'intérieur d'un environnement aseptisé d'un moyen ou dispositif perforateur pour créer une ouverture dans le bouchage étanche ou la capsule ; vii. augmenter la première pression de l'espace libre pour obtenir une seconde pression de l'espace libre à l'intérieur du contenant par introduction d'un fluide aseptisé dans l'espace libre du contenant ; viii. fermer à nouveau hermétiquement le contenant à l'intérieur d'un environnement aseptisé d'un moyen ou dispositif de fermeture hermétique ; ix. transporter ou acheminer le contenant hermétiquement fermé à partir de l'environnement aseptisé de la chambre de convertisseur.
