The invention describes a cyclone processor comprising a cyclone head and a cone mounted under the cyclone head. The cyclone head (1) comprises a top plate (4) with an upper exit hole (3) in the middle and a ring (5) of inwardly directed air knives (6) comprising slits (7). The ring being mounted on the underside of the top plate (3) wherein most of the air knives are directed in the same direction, whereby a cyclonic movement of the air can be initiated and maintained. Furthermore the cyclone head comprises an inner tube (13) extending down into the cone, up through the upper exit hole in the top plate, and at least one material feeder (14). The cone comprises a top flange (11) attached to the bottom plate (9), a conical hollow body (39) and a lower hole (15) having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the inner tube (13). High air velocity, low pressure and high degree of turbulence are formed in the cyclone by at least one air supply (12) connected to a blower (23) blowing air into the outer annulus (10) in a direction close to a tangent of the ring (5) of air knives (6), a suction unit (22) mounted to provide suction from the top of the inner pipe and the flow area on the outside of a lower rim of the inner pipe (13) is approximately equal to the flow area of the inner pipe.
