Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst composition for a hydroformylation reaction and a method for preparing an aldehyde using the same. More specifically, a catalyst composition having excellent catalytic activity or stability while significantly reducing the amount of a high-priced transition metal compound used can be provided by containing a particular phosphite-based ligand and a transition metal compound within particular content ranges, and an iso-aldehyde having excellent reaction efficiency can be provided at high productivity by applying the catalyst composition to a hydroformylation reaction.
