Abstract:
Provided is a catalyst structure for catalytic cracking or hydrodesulfurization which is capable of suppressing a reduction in catalyst activity to enable an efficient catalytic cracking treatment and makes it possible to easily and stably obtain a reformed product. This catalyst structure (1) for catalytic cracking or hydrodesulfurization comprises a carrier (10) with a porous structure composed of a zeolite compound, and metal oxide microparticles (20) of at least one type of metal oxide in the carrier (10), wherein the carrier (10) has interconnecting passages (11), the metal oxide microparticles (20) are present in at least the passages (11) in the carrier (10), and the metal oxide microparticles (20) are composed of a material containing one or more of oxides of Fe, Al, Zn, Zr, Cu, Co, Ni, Ce, Nb, Ti, Mo, V, Cr, Pd and Ru.
