Abstract:
This detector is provided with magnetic sensors (37a-37c) and a plurality of permanent magnets (34a-34b). Magnetic pole forming parts (120a, 120b) of two permanent magnets that are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction form magnetic poles having different polarities. The magnet sensors, in order to obtain position information about an axis line, detect the magnetic flux generated from the plurality of permanent magnets. A boundary between two permanent magnets adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction among the plurality of permanent magnets is referred to as a magnetic pole boundary (Q1). The magnetic flux detected by the magnetic sensor when a magnetic pole central part in the magnetic pole forming part of any permanent magnet among the plurality of permanent magnets faces the magnetic sensor is referred to as a first magnetic flux. Also, the magnetic flux detected by the magnetic sensor when a region (121c) located toward the magnetic pole boundary with respect to the magnetic pole central part faces the magnetic sensor is referred to as a second magnetic flux. The plurality of permanent magnets are configured so that the second magnetic flux is close to the first magnetic flux.
