Abstract:
Provided are: a route selection assist system capable of easily selecting a route inside the lumen of a living body in order to deliver a medical instrument to a site inside the living body via the lumen of the living body; a recording medium for recording a route selection assist program; a route selection assist method; and a diagnosis method. A route selection assist system (1) has: a receiving unit (110) for receiving an input of site information which specifies a target site; an image acquisition unit (120) for acquiring image information about the living body of a patient; a route extraction unit (130) for extracting a plurality of routes inside the living body lumen along which it would be possible to deliver the medical instrument to the target site, on the basis of the image information; an order assignment unit (140) for assigning an order to the plurality of routes extracted by the route extraction unit, by using a route score determined according to the ease of medical instrument delivery when delivering the medical instrument, and a patient score determined according to the size of the burden on the patient when delivering the medical instrument; and an output unit (150) for outputting the plurality of routes extracted by the route extraction unit and the order assigned by the order assignment unit. The image information includes images obtained by imaging the living body lumen, and a route score calculation unit calculates the route score by using the images from said imaging.
