Abstract:
Provided is a QProbe by which costs for fluorescent labeling are lowered. When a nucleic acid probe labeled with a fluorochrome hybridizes to a target nucleic acid, the fluorochrome decreases fluorescent emission. The 5'-end region of said probe is labeled with a fluorochrome via an ssH amino linker, or the 3'-end region of said probe is labeled with a fluorochrome via a CA amino linker. When said nucleic acid probe hybridizes to the target nucleic acid, in said ends, the base sequence of said probe is designed such that said probe and the target nucleic acid are 1 to 3 bases away from the hybridized end base and at least one base of G (guanine) is present in the base sequence of the target nucleic acid.
