Abstract:
This image processing device is provided with: an alignment amount calculation unit (29) that calculates an alignment amount for corresponding pixels in a standard image and a reference image using a projective transformation matrix; and an image combination unit (31) that combines the standard image with a reference image converted on the basis of the alignment amount. The alignment amount calculation unit (29) comprises: a corresponding region movement amount calculation unit (51) for calculating a movement amount for each of feature regions that correspond between the reference image and the standard image; a clustering processing unit (53) that sorts, into one or more groups, other feature regions except feature regions exhibiting a trend in which the movement amount is different from the movement amount of the other feature regions; and a projective transformation matrix calculation unit (55) that calculates a projective transformation matrix using the movement amounts of the other feature regions. The clustering processing unit comprises an evaluation value calculation unit that calculates an evaluation value for each of a plurality of the feature regions using the calculated movement amounts. The evaluation values are calculated as a difference value for the movement amounts of two feature regions adjacent to each other in at least one of the vertical direction, the left-right direction, and a 45° diagonal direction.
