A cutting tool, in which a slit is provided rearward of a space between an upper jaw and a lower jaw, an insert is sandwiched between the two jaws, and the upper jaw is deformed toward the lower jaw to perform clamping by fastening of a threaded member having a head part, wherein the threaded member has a hollow shaft structure, the hollow part thereof is configured as a coolant flow path, and coolant is supplied from an upper-jaw inner flow path and a lower-jaw inner flow path provided to the jaws without the need for an elastic seal member. A vertical hole having a seat surface 65 passes through a holder 10 on the lower-jaw 30 side, and a threaded hole 80 passes through the holder 10 on the upper-jaw 20 side. An inlet 35 of a lower-jaw inner flow path 35 is provided in a large-diameter hole 60, which is the vertical hole, and an inlet 25a of a upper-jaw inner flow path 25 for coolant is provided at a vertically central position in the threaded hole 80. A threaded member 70 has provided thereto a hollow part 77 that is opened at the rear end of a head part 71 and closed at a distal end 78, a branch hole 75 that communicates with the outer peripheral surface is provided at the central position in a threaded shaft part 73, and a threaded rotation part 79 is provided to the distal end 78. A structure is adopted in which the threaded member 70 is threaded from the large-diameter hole 60 into the threaded hole 80 to perform clamping.
