Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a first step for molding, from a first transparent resin, a pair of molded parent materials 22 in each of which a large number of triangular cross-section grooves 19, which each have an inclined surface 17 and a vertical surface 18, and a large number of triangular cross-section protrusions 20 formed by adjacent grooves 19 are disposed parallel to each other on one side of a transparent plate material 16; a second step for forming a mirror surface on each vertical surface 18 of the molded parent materials 22, thereby manufacturing a pair of intermediate parent materials 28; and a third step for making the pair of intermediate parent materials 28 face each other such that the respective vertical surfaces 18 thereof are perpendicular to each other in a plan view, filling the grooves 19 with a second transparent resin that has a lower melting point than the first transparent resin and has a refractive index that is the same as or close to the refractive index of the first transparent resin, bonding the pair of intermediate parent materials 28 to each other, thereby manufacturing integrated first and second light controlling panels 13, 14. The inclined surfaces 17 of the molded parent materials 22 are each composed of a) a flat surface, or (b) a concave surface recessed from the flat surface, an uneven surface or a polygonal surface.
