Abstract:
This light quantity detection device (1) is provided with: an optical fiber (13) that guides a portion (L) of light output from a light source and emits the portion (L) of light from an emission end surface (13a) thereof; a light receiving part (12) that has a light receiving surface (12a) disposed so as to approximately face the emission end surface (13a), and that detects a received light quantity of the light (L) on the light receiving surface (12a); and an adjusting part (14) that adjusts the received light quantity of a monitor light (L) on the light receiving surface (12a) by changing the distance between the optical axis (C) of the light (L) emitted from the emission end surface (13a) and the optical axis (B) of the light receiving surface (12a).
