Title: REACTION FORCE GENERATION UNIT
Abstract:
Provided is a reaction force generation unit capable of stabilizing a generated reaction force and enhancing processing accuracy. In a pressed body 20, three dome sections, that is, a first dome section 22-1, a second dome section 22-2, and a third dome section 22-3, bulge out from a base section 21. The tip 23 of each dome section 22 faces a facing surface 11 of a facing member 10. When the base section 21 is pressed by a pressing member 13, the tip 23 of each dome section 22 is relatively displaced toward the facing member 10, and at this point, the dome section 22 is elastically deformed, whereby an appropriate reaction force is generated on an operator. In a natural state in which the pressed body 20 is assumed to not receive a pressing force, respective axial center lines X1, X2 and X3 of the dome sections 22-1, 22-2 and 22-3 are substantially parallel to each other, and acute angle-side angles formed by the axial center lines X1, X2 and X3 and the normal line X0 of the facing surface 11 are approximately identical, the acute angle-side angles being a predetermined angle θ° greater than 0°.
