Abstract:
(EN) A method implemented by a switch in a software defined networking (SDN) network to monitor a service node communicatively coupled to the switch. The method includes generating a first flow entry that matches packets received from the service node, generating a second flow entry that matches packet received from the service node, wherein the second flow entry has a priority that is lower than a priority of the first flow entry, removing the first flow entry and transmitting a flow removed message to an SDN controller in response to a determination that the first flow entry has timed out, maintaining a statistic associated with the second flow entry, and transmitting a statistics trigger event message to the SDN controller in response to a determination that the statistic associated with the second flow entry exceeds a threshold value.
(FR) Procédé mis en oeuvre par un commutateur dans un réseau défini par logiciel (SDN), qui permet de surveiller un noeud de service relié au commutateur par une liaison de communication . Le procédé consiste à générer une première entrée de flux qui correspond aux paquets reçus en provenance du noeud de service, à générer une seconde entrée de flux qui correspond à un paquet reçu en provenance du noeud de service, la seconde entrée de flux présentant une priorité qui moins élevée que celle de la première entrée de flux, à supprimer la première entrée de flux et à transmettre un message de suppression de flux à un contrôleur SDN en répoonse à la détection de l'expiration de la première entrée de flux, à mettre à jour une statistique associée à la seconde entrée de flux, et à transmettre un message d'événement d'activation de statistiques au contrôleur SDN en réponse à la détection d’un dépassement d’une valeur seuil par la statistique associée à la seconde entrée de flux.
