Provided is a novel semiconductor device in which a storage circuit is constituted by a unipolar circuit that uses OS transistors. Thus, connections with different layers inside the storage circuit are unnecessary. Consequently, the number of connection parts can be reduced, the degree of freedom of circuit layouts can be improved, and the reliability of the OS transistors can be improved. In particular, memory cells are constituted by unipolar circuits in order to provide numerous memory cells, thereby resulting in a significant reduction in the number of connection parts. Furthermore, providing drive circuits to the same layer as a cell array makes it possible to avoid providing a large number of wires connecting the drive circuits and the cell array between layers, and making it possible to further reduce the number of connection parts. A plurality of integrated circuits are provided to an interposer, enabling said circuits to function as a single electronic component.
