Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to chemical compounds that are useful in the treatment of diseases associated with an activity of a 5,10-methylenyltetrahydrofolate cyclohydrolase / 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase enzyme in pathological eukaryotic cells. In particular the invention relates to compounds that exhibit inhibitory activity upon 5,10- methylenyltetrahydrofolate cyclohydrolase / 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase enzymes and their use in the treatment of cancer and/or parasitic diseases.
(FR) L'invention concerne des composés chimiques utiles dans le traitement de maladies associées à l'activité d'une enzyme de 5,10-méthylènyltétrahydrofolate cyclohydrolase/5,10-méthylène-tétrahydrofolate déshydrogénase dans des cellules eucaryotes pathologiques. L'invention concerne en particulier des composés présentant une activité inhibitrice sur des enzymes de 5,10-méthylènyltétrahydrofolate cyclohydrolase/5,10-méthylène-tétrahydrofolate déshydrogénase, ainsi que leur utilisation dans le traitement du cancer et/ou de maladies parasitaires.
