The LED layer sequence is configured to generate electromagnetic radiation according to a current flow between the first and the second electrodes. The driver field-effect transistor has a driver gate (22) and a driver channel (23). The second electrode and the driver channel electrode are separately electrically connected to the driver channel and the driver gate electrode is electrically connected to the driver gate. Depending on a voltage applied at the driver gate electrode, the driver field-effect transistor is configured to control a current flow between the driver channel electrode and the second electrode via the driver channel (23), and to thereby control the current flow between the first and second electrode.
