Abstract:
(EN) A passive photonics reservoir computing system, the system comprising an optical waveguide based structure comprising a plurality of discrete nodes and a plurality of passive waveguide interconnections between the nodes for propagating the at least one photonic signal between the nodes, in which each discrete node is adapted for passively relaying the at least one photonic wave over the passive waveguide interconnections connected thereto, wherein the optical waveguide based structure comprises at least one multimode Y-junction configured for connecting three waveguides using a taper section wherein the taper section is not perfectly adiabatic. The present invention also relates to a training scheme for training a passive photonics computing system.
(FR) L’invention concerne un système informatique de réservoir photonique passif, le système comprenant une structure basée sur des guides d'ondes optiques comprenant une pluralité de nœuds discrets et une pluralité d'interconnexions de guide d'ondes passif entre les nœuds pour propager le ou les signaux photoniques entre les nœuds, chaque nœud discret étant conçu pour relayer passivement la ou les ondes photoniques sur les interconnexions de guide d'ondes passives connectées à celles-ci, la structure basée sur des guides d'ondes optiques comprenant au moins une jonction Y multimode configurée pour connecter trois guides d'ondes à l'aide d'une section conique, la section conique n'étant pas parfaitement adiabatique. La présente invention concerne également un schéma d'apprentissage destiné à l'apprentissage d'un système informatique photonique passif.
