Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine by means of a gaseous fuel that does not self-ignite or that is difficult to ignite, in which method the gaseous fuel is injected directly into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine and is ignited by means of diesel fuel. According to the invention, the gas pressure that is present is sensed and a selection is made between two different combustion methods in accordance with the gas pressure that is present. The invention further relates to an internal combustion engine that can be operated by means of a gaseous fuel that does not self-ignite or that is difficult to ignite.
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne avec un combustible gazeux non auto-inflammable ou difficilement inflammable, selon lequel le combustible gazeux est insufflé directement dans une chambre de combustion du moteur à combustion interne et allumé au moyen de gazole. Selon l’invention, la pression de gaz présente est détectée et une sélection est effectuée entre deux procédés de combustion différents en fonction de la pression de gaz présente. L’invention concerne en outre un moteur à combustion interne qui peut fonctionner avec un combustible gazeux non auto-inflammable ou difficilement inflammable.
(DE) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Verbrennungsmotors mit einem nicht selbstzündenden oder schwer zündbaren, gasförmigen Brennstoff, bei dem der gasförmige Brennstoff direkt in einen Brennraum des Verbrennungsmotors eingeblasen und mittels Dieselkraftstoff gezündet wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird der vorhandene Gasdruck erfasst und in Abhängigkeit vom vorhandenen Gasdruck zwischen zwei unterschiedlichen Brennverfahren gewählt. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner einen Verbrennungsmotor, der mit einem nicht selbstzündenden oder schwer zündbaren, gasförmigen Brennstoff betreibbar ist.
