Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an intermediate network for a radiocommunications system, the intermediate network comprising one or more stations placed on high-altitude platforms for connecting an assembly of remote base stations to one or more ground stations. The high-altitude platforms are networked by means of communication links, for example high speed, free-space optical links. The invention also proposes connecting remote base stations that are outside of the coverage zone of the stations located on high-altitude platforms via, for example, microwave transmission relay stations or base stations at the edge of the coverage zone.
(FR) L'invention propose un réseau intermédiaire pour un système de radiocommunications, le réseau intermédiaire comprenant une ou plusieurs stations placées sur des plateformes à haute altitude pour connecter un ensemble de stations de base distantes à une ou plusieurs stations sol. Les plateformes à haute altitude sont mises en réseau au moyen de liaisons de communications, par exemple des liaisons optiques en espace libre à haut débit. L'invention propose également de connecter des stations de base distantes positionnées hors de la zone de couverture des stations placées sur des plateformes à haute altitude via, par exemple, des stations relai de faisceau hertzien ou des stations de base en bord de la zone de couverture.
