Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for determining an operating temperature of a battery cell (10), in particular in an electrically operable working device or a vehicle, in which method (i) a value of a measurand for determining an external temperature of the battery cell (10) is detected - in particular continuously or continuously in sections - close to and externally of the battery cell (10), (ii) an internal temperature of the battery cell (10) is determined by detecting an electrical impedance of the battery cell (10), and (iii) a value of the operating temperature of the battery cell (10) is determined from the external and/or the internal temperature, wherein (A) the internal temperature of the battery cell (10) at least in a first operating state of the battery cell (10) is determined more frequently when the value of the ascertained external temperature, the internal temperature and/or the operating temperature of the battery cell (10) lies within a predefined first safe range (55), and (B) is determined less frequently when the value of the ascertained external temperature, the internal temperature and/or the operating temperature of the battery cell (10) lies outside the predefined first safe range (55).
