Abstract:
(EN) A method for characterizing particles producing heat when exposed to light is proposed. The method comprises the steps of stimulating a particle sample (2e) alternatingly with homogenous light waves (8a, 10a, 12a, 14a) with at least a first wavelength and a second wavelength, detecting by means of a detector (18a) heat (16a) radiated by the particle sample as a result of the stimulation, thereby yielding time-dependent images of a modulated heat distribution pattern, converting the time-dependent image of the modulated heat distribution pattern into the frequency domain and demodulating the image of the modulated heat distribution pattern, and determining a physical property of the particle sample based on the at least one demodulated image of heat distribution.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de caractérisation de particules produisant de la chaleur en cas d'exposition à la lumière. Le procédé consiste à stimuler un échantillon de particules (2e) en alternance avec des ondes lumineuses homogènes (8a, 10a, 12a, 14a) à l'aide d'au moins une première longueur d'onde et une seconde longueur d'onde, à détecter au moyen d'un détecteur (18a) une chaleur (16a) émise par l'échantillon de particules en réponse à la stimulation, ce qui permet d'obtenir des images dépendant du temps d'un motif de distribution de chaleur modulé, à convertir l'image dépendant du temps du motif de distribution de chaleur modulé dans le domaine de fréquence et à démoduler l'image du motif de distribution de chaleur modulé, et à déterminer une propriété physique de l'échantillon de particules en fonction desdites images démodulées de distribution de chaleur.
