Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method of controlling engine derating of an internal combustion engine (10) being provided with a turbocharger (110) and a variable inlet guide vanes assembly (130) arranged upstream a compressor (120) of the turbocharger (110). The method comprises determining a current operational condition requiring engine derating, detecting a current operational condition of the compressor (120), and controlling the position of the variable inlet guide vanes assembly (130) based on the detected operational condition of the compressor (120).
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de commande d'allègement de régime d'un moteur à combustion interne (10) pourvu d'un turbocompresseur (110) et d'un ensemble d'aubes directrices à entrée variable (130) disposé en amont d'un compresseur (120) du turbocompresseur (110). Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à déterminer une condition de fonctionnement courante nécessitant un allègement de régime du moteur, à détecter une condition de fonctionnement courante du compresseur (120) et à commander la position de l'ensemble d'aubes directrices à entrée variable (130) en fonction de la condition de fonctionnement détecté du compresseur (120).
