Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a method for improving large viewing angle color cast of a display panel. The panel comprises an R, G and B sub-pixel array (301) and BM areas between various sub-pixels. The method comprises: arranging an optical grating (302) parallel to the sub-pixel array (301) and above the sub-pixel array (301); the optical grating (302) comprises transparent areas (303) and non-transparent areas (304); the non-transparent areas (304) are arranged above the BM areas; and the optical grating (302) is such arranged that light transmitted by the sub-pixels is partially blocked by the non-transparent areas (304) of the optical grating (302) when the sub-pixels are observed with a large viewing angle.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration de dominante de couleur de grand angle visuel d'un panneau d'affichage. Le panneau comprend une matrice de sous-pixels R, V et B (301) et des zones BM entre divers sous-pixels. Le procédé consiste : à agencer un réseau optique (302) parallèle à la matrice de sous-pixels (301) et au-dessus de cette dernière, le réseau optique comprenant des zones transparentes (303) et des zones non transparentes (304), les zones non transparentes (304) étant disposées au-dessus des zones BM, et le réseau optique (302) étant agencé de sorte que la lumière émise par les sous-pixels est partiellement bloquée par les zones non transparentes (304) du réseau optique (302) lorsque les sous-pixels sont observés selon un grand angle visuel.
